Dogs, cats: Efficacy of methocarbamol in the treatment of acute skeletal muscle hyperactivity secondary to the following conditions has been reported: intervertebral disc syndrome, compressive myelitis, spinal cord injury when cord remains intact, trauma causing muscular and ligamentous sprains and strains, myositis, fibrositis, bursitis and synovitis, muscular spasm prior to or following surgical procedures.
Horses: ilium Methocarbamol Injection is indicated as an adjunct therapy for acute inflammatory and traumatic conditions of the skeletal muscle, to reduce muscular spasms, and effect striated muscle relaxation.
Efficacy of methocarbamol in the treatment of acute muscle hyperactivity secondary to the following conditions has been reported: trauma, muscular and ligamentous sprains and strains, myositis, fibrositis, bursitis and synovitis, tying up syndrome, muscular spasm prior to or following surgical procedures and maintenance of muscle relaxation in tetanus.
