Contains 1.5 mg/mL meloxicam in a palatable suspension for dogs. Used to relieve inflammation and pain from acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
Available in 10, 30, 50 and 100mL containers, with a measuring syringe.
Use within 6 months of opening.
Administer with food.
Note: Performance dogs may be subject to the rules of various regulatory bodies. Advice should be sought from the relevant regulator with regards to performance withholds.
Alleviation of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, and reduction of postoperative pain and inflammation following orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs.
Dogs. Musculoskeletal disorders. Give a single subcutaneous injection of Ilium Meloxicam Injection for Dogs and Cats at a dosage of meloxicam 0.2 mg/kg bodyweight. Ilium Meloxicam Oral Suspension for Dogs should be used for continuation of treatment at a dosage of 0.1 mg/kg bodyweight, 24 hours after administration of injection.
Administration to pregnant or lactating animals, or animals suffering from gastrointestinal disorders such as irritation and haemorrhage, impaired hepatic, cardiac or renal function or haemorrhagic disorders, or when there is evidence of individual hypersensitivity to the product.
As is the case for all NSAIDs, administration to debilitated geriatric and animals under the age of 6 weeks must be carefully managed at the clinical level.
