Ilium Dermotic Ear and Skin Suspension
Actions
Contains Miconazole nitrate as an antifungal, Polymyxin B sulphate as an antibiotic together with Prednisolone as an anti-inflammatory agent. This combination of active constituents, when used as directed, provides an effective treatment for otitis externa and minor skin infections of bacterial and fungal origin in dogs, cats and horses.
Indications
For the treatment of otitis externa and skin infections caused by fungi, yeasts, Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria in horses, dogs & cats.
DERMOTIC ear & skin suspension is not active against ear mites.
Directions for use
Shake well before use.
Otitis Externa: Instil 3 to 5 drops into the ear twice daily. Gently massage the ear to ensure even distribution of the product.
Skin Infections: Apply to the affected area and rub in. After the clinical signs have completely disappeared, continue treatment without interruption for several days. In certain obstinate cases it may be necessary to continue treatment for 2 to 3 weeks. At the beginning of the treatment cut the hair surrounding or covering lesions.

Liquid suspension 20mL.
Composition
Each mL contains 23mg Miconazole nitrate (equivalent to 20mg/mL Miconazole), 5mg Prednisolone acetate (equivalent to 4.1mg/mL Prednisolone), 0.696mg Polymyxin B sulfate (equivalent to 0.648mg/mL Polymyxin B).
