Ilium Lignocaine 20 Injection
Actions
Produces a reversible block of nerve impulse conduction and/or prevents the generation of impulses. Produces analgesia, relaxation, hyporeflexia. The animal remains awake.
Indications
Local anaesthetic injection for horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
Directions for use
Inject to effect via either s.c. or i.m. injection.
Maximum dose:
Horses & Cattle: 200mL
Sheep & Pigs: 60mL
Dogs: 30mL
Cats: 5mL
Presentation
Injection 100mL PET.
Composition
Lignocaine hydrochloride 20mg/mL.
Withholding period
Meat/Milk – Nil.
Storage
Store below 30ºC (room temperature). Protect from light.
